NFL Week 17 – Bargain Bin Plays

Bargain Bin Value Players for DK- Week 15 (Sunday Main Slate)

Bargain Bin Value Players for DK- Week 17

Week 17…Lets get it! For this write up, I will look for several value position players that could help your lineup construction for the main slate on DraftKings. The overall point of this article is to identify which low priced players could be of value to your roster as you construct your lineups for the main slate this week. At the bottom, I list my favorite players of the week regardless of price. Feel free to reach out to me via Twitter as well! @rdr1634

Week 17

Jacoby Brissett $5,500- The Texans defense has been picked on for most of the year for very good reasons so why stop now! In his first matchup against the, he went for 23 DK points, throwing for over 300 yards. Pair him with Hilton and move on with the rest of your lineup!

Tyrod Taylor $5,300- The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot, so they will need to rely on the playmaking ability that Tyrod brings to this team. Just 2 weeks ago, he went for 23 DK points and I think he could be a very safe play for this weekends slate.

Derek Carr $5,100- This is probably the last game for Todd Downing to be the Raiders Offensive Coordinator, so I can see him breaking out all the stops for this one. Also, the Raiders have a chance to knock the Chargers out of the playoffs with a win, so they will be out to destroy the playoff hopes of a division rival!

Derrick Henry $5,500- DeMarco Murray is out with an injury so the Titans playoff hopes will be on the back of Henry. Earlier this year, he ran the ball 14 times for 92 yards against the Jaguars defense. He will get more carries so hopefully he will hit the same yardage number as he did earlier.

Akeem Hunt $3,000- Kareem Hunt will not play, Charcandrick West is out due to illness so its now time for Akeem Hunt to get a chance in this offense! He is minimum price, so he is worth a look.

Jamaal Williams $5,200- Williams is going to handle majority of the Green Bay carries since Aaron Jones is listed out. Detroit has been giving up some yardage on the ground to opposing running backs, especially over the last 5 games.

TY Hilton $5,900- TY had a monster game against the Texans (175 receiving yards and 2 TDs). I can see him having a huge game this week to finish off this season.

Amari Cooper $5,200- Cooper caught a huge bomb last week and I can see them going back to the well this week. He has had some of his biggest games against the Chargers, so he is worth a GPP look.

Will Fuller $4,300- Hopkins is out so TJ Yates will need a go to target. Fuller has consistently seen 5 targets per game over the last 3 games and that number should increase since he will slide into the top receiving option.

Kelvin Benjamin $4,300- If the Bills are going to have any chance to win and make the playoffs, they will need their passing game to step up to compliment their dominant running attack with LeSean McCoy. KB and Tyrod Taylor need to be in sync early in the game and hopefully we see a big game from him.

Geronimo Allison $3,200 (GPP)- With no Jordy and Davante, Geronimo could slide into a starting role for the Packers. He has had 15 targets over the last 3 games, so he could see an uptick for tomorrows game.

Russell Shepard $3,000 (GPP)- Shepard slides into a key role for the Carolina offense since Byrd is now on injured reserve. He is listed at minimum price and could take on a larger role in this passing attack.

Antonio Gates $4,200  Raiders have struggled against opposing Tight Ends and Gates is coming off a game where he saw 8 targets.

Ben Watson $3,800- Watson has been one of the more consistent lower priced options at the Tight End position. The Bengals have also allowed 23 receptions and 3 TDs to opposing Tight Ends over the last 5 games, so this could be a good spot for Watson.

Kansas City $3,300- In their first matchup of the season, the KC defense scored 20 DK points. They forced 3 interceptions, had 2 fumble recoveries and 3 sacks. I would not be surprised to see a similar stat line for tomorrows matchup.
